At PURE, we believe that every life transformed is a step toward building a more equitable and sustainable future. Since our inception in 2016, our mission has been to address critical social challenges by empowering communities through education, skill development, inclusion, and sustainability. Guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we’ve been relentless in our efforts to create meaningful change, touching lives across India.
Through innovative programs and a volunteer-driven model, we’ve worked tirelessly to bridge gaps in education, support special needs communities, foster livelihoods, and promote environmental stewardship. PURE’s commitment to education drives meaningful change for students across India. Over 600 schools have been transformed with upgraded infrastructure, digital classrooms, and STEM-focused labs. Scholarships for over 200 students have opened doors to higher education and opportunities in academics and sports. By providing laptops, phones, and other tools, we ensure students from underserved communities can access the resources they need to excel.
Our focus on special needs support ensures inclusion and dignity for differently-abled individuals. PURE has distributed over 500 prosthetic limbs and calipers, 100+ motorized wheelchairs, and numerous three-wheel mobility devices. With hearing aids, vision aids, laptops, and phones, we enable individuals to overcome barriers and embrace independence.
Skill development and livelihoods form a crucial part of PURE’s mission. Through four skill centers, we have empowered over 3,000 women in urban slums and conducted financial literacy workshops for 600+ individuals. These programs equip participants with skills and confidence to secure sustainable livelihoods and support their families.
